Our Story
From supplying the coal mining industry to becoming Colorado's trusted building materials supplier, our journey has been built on hard work, quality products, and genuine relationships with the contractors and homeowners we serve.
How It All Started
In 1978, H & H Bolt and Supply opened its doors in Delta, Colorado, providing roof control products to the underground coal mining industry. Just two years later, rebar fabrication was added under the registered trade name Rocky Mountain Rebar (RMR), serving the growing construction needs of Western Colorado.
As the region evolved, so did we — expanding from mining supply and rebar fabrication into a full-service lumber yard and building materials supplier. By focusing on what mattered most — honest service, quality products, and fair prices — we built relationships that have lasted generations.
Today, we're proud to serve customers across five states from three locations. Our goal remains the same as it was in 1978: provide reliable service that stands head and shoulders above the rest.
Our Journey
The Beginning
Founded as H & H Bolt and Supply in Delta, Colorado, providing roof control products to the underground coal mining industry.
Rebar Fabrication Added
Rebar fabrication was added to serve construction projects throughout Western Colorado, operating under the registered trade name Rocky Mountain Rebar (RMR).
Modernized Fabrication
Invested in modern rebar fabrication equipment to increase capacity and precision.
Full-Service Lumber Yard
Expanded beyond mining supply and rebar into a full-service lumber yard and building materials supplier.
Benjamin Moore Partnership
Became an authorized Benjamin Moore dealer, adding premium paint and stain products to our offerings.
Montrose Location Opens
Opened our second location in Montrose, bringing our products and services closer to customers in Montrose County.
Telluride Location
Opened our Telluride location, bringing building materials and Benjamin Moore paint products to the mountain resort community.
Rocky Mountain Building Solutions
Under new ownership by CSG Investments, a group of local investors committed to the Western Slope, the company rebranded as Rocky Mountain Building Solutions, building on nearly five decades of service with fresh energy and an expanded focus.
